How lovely - you do seem to find the best scarves - was it a scrum in Paris? The only time I've been in the FSH store it was five-deep at the scarf counter.
ReplyDeleteHello Mrs Exeter! I got the gavroche at Rue de Sevres rather than FSH and it was very peaceful there! That said, FSH was not too busy - it was a Monday morning and plenty of SAs were free to help, but it can and does get very busy especially at weekends in my experience! Glad you like the gavroche, SAx
ReplyDeleteHello, writing for the first time, although I have been reading your blog for a while. The colour combo of these two gavroches is beautiful. Could you maybe make a how-to-video for the "butterfly knot", please? I have tried to make it, but it was far from your knot - obviously I did a mistake somewhere. Hugs, Anna
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Your latest addition goes so well with Ms Pink, and both look very pretty together.
ReplyDeleteHi, I found your blog through the Purse Forum, on the Hermes scarf thread. I just bought my first Hermes scarf last week, the 70cm Washington's Carriage in the turquoise/ink colorway. It is divine! I understand now how this can get addictive because seeing your navy blue and red gavroche, I think I may have to be your scarf twin and get this one too. It is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Anna glad you have been reading the blog. Thank you for your suggestion about a video I will see what I can do. SAx
ReplyDeleteThank you MaiTai! SAx
ReplyDeleteWelcome Jill815! Your 70cm sounds lovely - congrats on your first acquisition. Glad you like the gavroche - and yes it is addictive this H scarf business LOL!! SAx
ReplyDeleteTwo scarves together is a great idea to explore, thank you Scarf Addict!
ReplyDeleteHi Birkinmary glad you like the idea (though not mine). Best wishes, SAx
ReplyDeleteWow! I've been looking at your blog for a while now and am so impressed with your finds and tutorials on some beautiful scarves.. Do you have a contact email address? I work at the publisher Thames & Hudson and we have a great book coming out in February I think you will really love!
ReplyDeleteThank you Belinda glad you like the blog.
ReplyDeleteFor privacy perhaps you can leave me another note on comments with your email which I will not publish and I will get in touch?
Hello dear SA, I'm looking forward to the possible how-to-video on the butterfly knot... Now that I have seen your two Printemps Ete 69- Automne Hiver 70 gavroches together I am going to get out my red one and brown one in the same pattern (70 cm) and see how they look together. Very fun idea. Thanks and congrats.
ReplyDeleteHi SMR! I will see what I can do, glad you like the scarves together, it is a very nice way to wear them without them being too bulky! HAGW. SAx
