Paris (5) - The Cartier Brooches

The Duchess of Windsor's Flamingo.
In my final piece on the Cartier exhibition you see here a selection of some of the lovely brooches that were on display.  There were so many to see!
Queen Elizabeth II's Williamson Diamond 
brooch - the pink diamond in the centre 
is the world's largest natural pink diamond.  
Gorgeous!


A beautiful diamond an ruby palm tree 
brooch - the stem is articulated.


A rose for a rose - Princess Margaret Rose 
wore this brooch to the coronation of 
QEII at Westminster Abbey in 1953.


Two cute little ducks!


A stuuning diamond floral brooch.


A fabulous bow!


A beautiful pearl and diamond basket of flowers.


Marie of Romania's sapphire - one of, if not,
the largest sapphires in the world at 478 carats.  
It is now owned by the Qatar Museum.


Barbara Hutton's tiger brooch.


A lovely turquoise fir cone shaped brooch.

  2. Hi PP - yes they were all cute! Grace Kelly had a penchant for cute animal brooches some of which were on display! I agree any would do for me too! SAx
