Hopefully there will be another brood later in the season?

So sweet... I live on a lake and each year we worry about the ducklings as well. DH says not to get too attached... but it is hard not to.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the remaining three will survive to grow big and strong.
Hopefully so SMR!! SA:-)
ReplyDeleteAww, so sad. They do look lost, but also hoping the last three will make it and become beautiful and strong.
ReplyDeleteSadly there is only 1 left now - my sister is considering whether to hand rear it but it is difficult to know what to do as one should not really interfere with nature. We can but hope the sole survivor makes it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update. Crossing my fingers for the duckling.
ReplyDeleteOh sad news MaiTai - poor little thing was gone on Tuesday:-(( I guess with no parents around he stood little chance. My sister was very upset. Thank you for your wishes anyway.
