Royal Wedding!

Well they are married! Kate and William both looked great and so HAPPY! What a lovely couple!

The dress was just what I imagined for Kate I adore the lace sleeves and lovely demure neckline.

The tiara is lovely - said to be a 1936 "halo" style tiara loaned by the Queen, it is called The Diamond Scroll Tiara and was worn by the late Queen Elizabeth-The Queen Mother, the late Princess Margaret and a young Princess Royal also wore the tiara. I believe it was created by Cartier.

Kate's dress was made by Sarah Burton from the design house of Alexander McQueen.  It has a lovely detail at the back.
The fashionistas are saying the dress is inspired to a degree by that of the late Princess Grace of Monaco - there is certainly a similarity!

William and Harry looked amazing in their uniforms.

  1. Beautiful young woman and beautiful dress. Her poise during the wedding was impressive. Although I didn't see the wedding live since I was traveling (and in a different time zone) I did see several clips and the entire wedding and celebration was impressive. Wishing them much happiness.

  2. Yes they seem very happy together - Kate has been "up the aisle" again doing the weekly shopping at her local supermarket LOL!!! I just hope she does not hide away for too long!
